Bring live music among your guests. Rio Brass is a London-based roaming brass band for weddings, receptions, corporate events and private celebrations, mixing familiar pop melodies with Brazilian rhythm.
What is a roaming brass band?
A roaming performance moves the music through an agreed space instead of keeping the musicians in one fixed position. It can create a musical welcome, accompany an entrance or bring a short feature among your guests.
The four-piece line-up combines trumpet, alto sax, tuba and drums. A five-piece adds trombone; the six-piece adds a second trumpet. We’ll discuss the route and room before recommending a line-up.
Being close to live brass can feel different from hearing it across a room. Tell us whether you want a relaxed welcome or a more energetic moment, along with any venue sound limits.

Corporate events & parties
For a launch, company celebration or private party, a roaming feature can bring attention to a planned part of the event. Send the running order so we can consider entrances, speeches and the movement of guests.
If conversation is the priority, a fixed background-music set may suit the room better. Roaming is a performance format; it does not automatically mean louder music or a party set.
Plan the space and movement
- Tell us whether the performance is indoors or outdoors, and describe the proposed route.
- Check access, steps, narrow areas and how much space guests will leave for the musicians.
- Share the venue’s sound restrictions and the timings of speeches or other entertainment.
- For outdoor music, agree a suitable weather backup with the venue.
We’ll confirm what is workable before you book. Sound equipment and performance positioning are agreed for the specific event.
Roaming band prices & timings
Our direct booking guide starts at £1,025 for four musicians playing one 60-minute set, plus travel. Two 45-minute sets and five- or six-piece line-ups are also available. These are performance packages, not a promise of continuous walking; we’ll agree movement, set times and breaks around your event.

Can you move between spaces?
Tell us the rooms, route, access and timings you have in mind. We’ll confirm a suitable plan with you and the venue before booking.
Can the set include background music?
Yes. You can ask for a mix of background music and a roaming feature. We’ll agree where the musicians play and how the sound fits each part of your event.
What should I send for a quote?
Send your event date, venue or town, guest numbers and the moment you want music for. A description of the route or available space helps us recommend the setup.
