Hire a party brass band with familiar songs and Brazilian rhythm. Rio Brass brings live music to birthdays, anniversaries and private celebrations in London and across the UK, with four-, five- and six-piece line-ups.
Music for a birthday or private party
Start with the kind of celebration you want. A relaxed welcome gives guests time to catch up; a focused party set brings the music to the centre of the event. We can discuss a mix of both around your plans.
Our sound is built around trumpet, alto sax, tuba and drums, with trombone and another trumpet available in larger line-ups. Familiar melodies take on a different character through the horns and rhythm section.
Pop favourites with Brazilian rhythm
The repertoire includes Shape of You, Crazy in Love, Don’t Stop Me Now and Mais Que Nada. Tell us the songs and styles you enjoy so we can discuss the right set for your guests.

Choose the moment for live music
A single 60-minute performance can be the main live feature. Two 45-minute sets give you two musical moments, with the gap and running order agreed in advance. Tell us about food, speeches, cake or any other planned entertainment.
We offer roaming brass performances as well as music in one place. The right format depends on the room, access, guest numbers and the atmosphere you want.
A set that fits your venue
Share whether the party is in a private home, hired room or outdoor space. Brass has a distinctive acoustic sound, so room size, positioning and venue sound limits matter.
We’ll agree the performance space, setup, timing and any sound equipment for your event. For outdoor music, include a weather backup. If guests will mainly be talking, explore our background music for parties and receptions.
Party band line-ups & guide prices
The four-piece is trumpet, alto sax, tuba and drums; the five-piece adds trombone, and the six-piece adds a second trumpet. Direct booking guide prices for a 60-minute performance start at £1,025 for four musicians, £1,275 for five, and £1,425 for six, plus travel.
Two 45-minute sets are also available. See all line-ups and guide prices. Your final quote confirms the total for your date, location, timings and setup, including any agreed extras.

Can you play a relaxed set and a party set?
Yes. Tell us how you want the event to develop, and we’ll discuss the repertoire, timing and sound for each part.
Can you play at a party at home?
Send the location, guest count and details of the available indoor or outdoor space. We’ll discuss access, sound limits and a suitable setup before confirming whether we can meet the brief.
How do I check availability?
